Comments: Trying to get over some major art block. I have trouble finding any motivation or inspiration at all lately... When you have to draw for your job it really just drains all the fun out of creating. So this was just an experiment for the fun of it. I wanted to create a picture dedicated to the Welsh story of Blodeuwedd. A beautiful woman created out of flowers to become the wife of Lleu. She eventually betrayed Lleu and as punishment for her crimes was turned into an owl.

I'm hoping to get round to finishing this soon. I really want to put a background of an owl but I don't want to ruin the picture I have now... decisions, decisions...

this is really beautiful. i understand completely abut the block, idont do it for my profession but if i have too many commissions in a row i get very overwhelmed and hit a block. but youve done amazingly with this, spectacular. and i love that youve linked it to a story too
